so a quote my friend and bossman Darin threw into the mix during his share in our Simple Way Conversations day was this one:
“Guilt is a terrible motivator, but it’s a good sign that something is not good.”
and i thort that was really a helpful way of looking at things…
altho i think personally i would normally differentiate between ‘guilt’ and ‘conviction’ saying that GUILT makes you feel bad and deflates you and leaves you powerless whereas CONVICTION inspires you to move forward, and seek change and do something about the problem – for me both of them FEEL LIKE THE SAME THING, but it is the action they inspire [or don’t] that is the significance behind them for me…
whereas CONVICTION is a great motivator, GUILT is really not, but it is still a good sign that something is out of place or wrong and so whichever one has come along in your life, hopefully it is a good sign that something needs to be done… something different so that new results can be achieved…
